Advanced Clinical Practitioners

Kate Gurecki has been a licensed holistic esthetician for over 10 years, and considers her career simply an extension of her everyday life—she is a lover of the plant and animal kingdom, and passionate in sharing the interconnectedness between us all.
While her background is in education, with a Bachelor of Science degree from UCF in Florida, she switched careers in 2005, and in 2010 opened her own skincare business in Indialantic, Florida called Blue Morpho Skinspa. Blue Morpho combines health and holistic knowledge with living plant skin care and the ideals of ‘slow beauty’. Karin Lieberman is a practicing clinical aromatherapist, with a special focus in relief for joint and muscle pain. Her practice embodies a holistic approach, taking into consideration the emotional state that accompanies chronic and acute pain.
As a licensed esthetician for 14 years, Karen was first introduced to aromatherapy while working in a California wellness spa, where she discovered the power of essential oils to beautify, calm and rejuvenate not only the skin, but the spirit.

Moyo came across essential oils and their diverse usefulness as a coconut oil producer in Nigeria looking to add therapeutic values to her natural products. Attending the New York Institute of Aromatherapy formed her strong enthusiasm & relationship with plants and their healing properties, a practice which is new to Nigeria.
Graduating from the NYIOA made her fall in love with the amazing world of Aromatherapy, the relationship between people and plants and their aromatic oils. She is now set to launch a company called Aromatherapy Nigeria in which she will further explore the world of Aromatherapy.
Vivian Taormina is a self-employed entrepreneur in the holistic field. Delia Tarlea's interest in the healing arts started with a simple desire to educate, to gather and share knowledge on holistic approaches to wellness into daily life, living more simply and more connected to nature and to our own actions. Her interests and studies have expanded her practice to include not just yoga, meditation and aromatherapy, but also energy medicine and sound healing. Polina Tsupko comes from a country with very strong folk medicine traditions, so natural remedies have always been an inherent part of her lifestyle. She believes in a holistic approach to care, and aromatherapy gave her amazing insight into the interplay of forces in overall wellbeing, as well as a completely new set of tools for fine-tuning both the body and the mind. Raghda A Maksoud has been working with Essential oils for 20 years in the Fragrance and Flavors industry as a business development manager. She attended the 101 and the Advanced Aromatherapy certification programs with NYIOA in 2016 which made her fall in love with Essential oils again from a different Holistic perspective. Now she is still working as a Global business developing Manager for a USA company developing distillation, quality and sustainability of Essential oils in different countries. Brenda Crouse, M.S.Ed, is a certified aromatherapist, certified by NYIOA in May 2014. She is also a member of Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA). Tahnia Hawkins moved to New York City with plans of becoming a clinical psychologist after finishing an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. Leigh Winters, M.A., is a clinical researcher at Columbia University’s Spirituality Mind Body Institute and Columbia University Department of Psychiatry’s New York State Psychiatric Institute. She works at the Substance Use Research Center on opioid, cocaine, and alcohol treatment trials that involve motivational enhancement therapy, pharmacological facilitation of mindfulness training, mindfulness-based relapse prevention, and mind-body practices. Leigh is also a certified aromatherapist who is passionate about health and wellness. Victoria Grinman is the owner of Growing Kind Minds, an integrative practice that services children, adolescents, families and groups; and is a platform to share resources, information and tools with parents, professionals and the community. Ashton Fairbanks LeCraw grew up using and learning about plant and crystal medicine from her mother in their treehouse and garden in Atlanta, Georgia. After moving to the woods of northeast kingdom in Vermont, the center of international dowsing, she developed her own relationship with plant medicine and homeopathic remedies. Christine McClellan is an American communications expert and can best be described as a “Modern Medicine Woman.” In her client work, she follows a variety of ancient healing practices that includes prayer, herbal medicine, healing rituals, spiritualism, massage, and psychic healing.
